About linking verb Linking verbs are "be , become, get and etc why this verbs are called linking verb?

Hi Lolita, Linking verbs 'link' (connect) the subject or noun in the sentence with the adjective which refers to it (the subject/noun). They link a subject with an adjective which describes it. e.g. I am happy. This food tastes good. The contrast is with dynamic verbs which describe an activity. e.g. He cooks tasty food.
