Estimate (noun) vs Estimation (noun) I know the "Estimate" can be a verb and a noun, and "Estimation" can only be a noun. So, except this difference, as the same noun, how the two nouns are different? Like, the title of a document "Cost Estimate Report" vs "Cost Estimation Report". Which one is more common? Are they just the same? Thank you in advance!

I think an estimate is the result of a rough calculation, or guess. Whereas an estimation is the process of calculating that estimate. "By my estimation the economy will get worse" - I think (have guessed / roughly calculated) that the economy will worsen. "My estimate is close to the real answer" - my rough calculation is almost correct.
