To whom it may concern, I saw you are hiring volunteers and I thought maybe I could become a volunteer to share some experiences of learning English. Are you still accepting volunteers for this Easter or summer? I was invited to be a volunteer in Thailand before, so I always pay attention to charities in Thailand. I chose to work for a 501(c)(3) charitable organization after graduating because I considered spiritual life a priority. I am working at xx as a teaching assistant and have obtained the CELT-P (Certificate in English Language Teaching – Primary) qualification. I am passionate about volunteering; I am also currently teaching English to beginners for 3 American charities. I have a lot of time available during my school holidays, so I am eager to take on meaningful work related to my passion. Thank you for taking the time to consider my application. I look forward to your reply. Please let me know if you need more information. Kind regards, X

1) "To whom it may concern" is typically used to address people that you are unaware of, and it implies a lot of distance. However, given that you seem to be addressing a specific volunteer organization, that addressee (though not known exactly) is pretty well defined, so I wouldn't use that phrase here. Actually, I would specifically say that the phrase makes sense to use if you don't care to ever hear back from the recipient. 2) "thought maybe I could become" - grammatically, this is perfectly fine, but in the context if a letter, it shows quite a low level of interest, so I provided some different phrasing. 3) "meaningful work related to" - grammatically fine, but a bit too impersonal. I suggested changes that focus more on your relationship with the work. Referring to your "eagerness" will imply this passion, in my opinion. :) 4) Reordered wording of the final paragraph to emphasize things differently (especially your desire to receive a reply). Good work, my friend!
