My name is Joanna. I am a native Polish speaker.
I graduated from University of Warsaw with MA degree in Polish Language and Literature. I also completed post-graduate studies in the field of Teaching Polish as a Foreign Language at the Warsaw University. I also speak English, French and a little Russian. I'm a thoughtful and emapathetic person. People are comfortable talking at length with me. I evaluate ideas by looking at them from variety of angles. I always consider how people are affected by what I do and say.
I love to read, write, dance, talk to my friends and play with my cat - Profesor.

Classes with me are mainly conversations, but I also propose writing and reading in order to be able to find the proper words, to be sure of the correctness of the sentences … only you, your thoughts and a sheet of paper is the best first step to be more fluent in speaking, speaking with confidence. I send you materials to study before our classes.

Joanna is an extremely encouraging teacher who prepares lessons tailor-made to student interests. Joanna sent me a Polish YouTube video to discuss for today and it sparked so much discussion that I have an entire page full of new vocabulary! I am really looking forward to our future lessons and conversations :-).

Wir hatten eine so spannende Diskussion und Unterhaltung, dass die Zeit so schnell verging, dass für die eigentlich vorbereitete Stunde gar keine Zeit mehr blieb. Es hat total Spaß gemacht, sich mit Joanna auszutauschen und sprachlich war es für mich wahrlich eine schöne Herausforderung. Auf jeden Fall kann ich die Stunden und Gespräche mit Joanna sehr empfehlen.

Joanna ist eine großartige Lehrerin. Sie ist geduldig, hilft, hat Humor, tolle Ideen und stellt super spannende Aufgaben, gibt hochinteressante Materialien, hat viele unterschiedliche Methoden auf Lager und stellt Fragen, die ein Gespräch motivierend am Laufen halten. Es macht wirklich großen Spaß mit ihr zu lernen und sich zu unterhalten. Ich kann sie wärmstens empfehlen und freue mich auf das nächste Mal.

Das war wieder eine ganz fantastische Stunde mit Joanna. Richtig toll war auch, dass sie mir eine großartige Hausaufgabe mit zwei super schönen Texten und vielen Fragen vorab geschickt hat, so dass wir dann auch gleich ein tolles Thema hatten. Sie verbessert in sehr hilfreichem Maße und schreibt diese Dinge dann mit, so dass ich sie mir hinterher nochmal ins Gedächtnis rufen kann, was natürlich auch super ist. Ich freue mich auf weitere Stunden!
