I’m late to the party - but, Happy Mothers Day to the most adventurous mum! If I could travel back in time to my mother's 20s, I would go on more adventures with her as a friend. Interestingly Mother’s Day in the US is on a different day to the UK Mother’s Day. Here is a photo of her on a trip to West Papua. After 3 days of traveling from the UK, we arrived in this incredibly remote place. I’m grateful about how adventurous and open minded my mum is. Despite the aches and pains of getting older, she trekked 3 hours to see birds of paradise In 30C heat, swam with sharks, and the chewed local betel nut! What a legend!
