I also studied two years of Literature and Languages in Brazil, which gave me a deep appreciation for linguistic variation and how cultural differences and the various ways people express themselves can influence changes in a language. This can be seen both in the English spoken in tourist cities that attract digital nomads, like Lisbon, and in Portuguese in Brazil, which is huge and has one of the most diverse populations and cultures in the world. There are many different accents and ways of speaking across the country. CELTA certification acquired in December 2020. My experience started in 2018 in Peru where I taught English in two language schools for a year. In the meantime I applied to be a community tutor here at Italki where I have been teaching not only English but also Portuguese and Spanish.
