Today is a day called Chusha no Meigetsu in Japanese. This day is the beautiful full moon seen in middle of Autumn in September or October. It is known as the most beautiful moon of the year. Almost Japanese people celebrate by watching the moon, and eating Tsukimi dango. So, I am planning to get it on my way home. And then, I am looking forward to seeing the moon, but today’s weather has been so cloudy, so I’m worried about if it looks clear. If not, It’s okay because I can see the full moon tomorrow night too. I want to feel Autumn early. 🍂

This week, it was really hard to remember all the new moves for our Yosakoi dance. Every time we learn a new choreography, I try to keep dancing again and again until I can do it naturally. First, I watch the practice videos many times. I focus on the movements and how the seniors dance. Then I listen to the song carefully. On my way to and from school, I always listen to the music and imagine myself dancing. It helps me remember the timing and rhythm. After that, I actually move my body and practice the dance over and over until it becomes part of me. This is my routine for learning new dances. Sometimes I feel tired, but when I can finally dance the whole choreography smoothly, I feel really happy. I want to find a more efficient way to memorize the moves, but for now, I think this is the best method for me.

my initial motivation for learning English is making money. if we spoke English, we would have more job opportunities. a significant challenge I faced was listening. when we were at school, we studied English for tests, but didn't focus on listening or speaking. because even teachers didn't speak English. I overcame it by practicing listening myself, for example I watch YouTube videos. watching videos has been particularly effective in my learning process because I learn naturally. I can get more information with English. one of my goals for further improving my English skills is speaking English at advanced level.
