"JANE EYER" BY CHARLOTTE BRONTE
A worthy example of English classic literature. It is a first-person narrative about girl’s life, her becoming a woman.
This story is really personal and touching. Jane Eyer is very brave and determined, ready for actions and different events. She is an orphan. Her childhood was in an aunt's house, where jealous and cruel people lived. Then she studied in a hard boarding school and worked as a governess in a house of a loved one, ran away from there because of the terrible past of her chosen one. Every period was complicated for her, but she coped and found happiness.
During reading, you can think about themes for all times: woman’s role and desires, freedom and justice, feelings and mind.
P.S. I tried to write a reading diary for the first time and it became very useful. I continue to do it in the future and, maybe, one day write more about this practice.
