I believe that the most effective way to reduce crime is to show people the risks of becoming a criminal. We need to make people aware of the fear and difficulties that follow after committing a crime. As everyone knows, life after being arrested is often miserable. First, criminals are imprisoned, and life in prison can be extremely tough. Depending on the severity of the crime committed, they may have to spend many years behind bars. In the worst case, they could be imprisoned for life. There is no freedom, no entertainment, and no good food. Would you want to live in such a place? I believe most people would say no. Furthermore, life after leaving prison is also extremely difficult, as former inmates must adapt to normal society again. This is a serious problem for them. They need to find a job to survive, but it is not easy because of their criminal record. People in society often do not trust someone with a criminal past. On top of that, they may struggle to adjust to social life because they have been isolated in prison for a long time. As a result, many ex-prisoners end up returning to prison, creating a vicious cycle. In conclusion, I believe that these facts are frightening for most people. Therefore, showing the risks and hardships of being a criminal can be a highly effective way to reduce crime.

Tick tock, tick tock. Many varieties of the clocks synchronously ticked in the room. On the wall were hung some portraits of famous people and an article from the newspaper. The radio turned on and a voice was saying about Toyota's advertising. Then a coffee machine turned on, poured water, but there's no coffee cup. After that the TV turned on and a woman appeared on the screen. She said that plutonium was stolen from the Pacific Nuclear research facility and a Libyan terrorist group took responsibility for this crime. Next to the TV, the toaster kept working with two slices of bread in it. Bread was already burnt off. A homemade device for opening dog food cans also kept working. On the floor was laying a big pile of dog food. It looks like the owner has left the house in a rush and didn't turn off his equipment. The door opened and someone came in. The visitor held a skateboard in his hand. “Hey, doc? Anybody home?” The visitor said. There was no answer. The visitor looked around, put the skateboard on the floor and pushed it with his foot. The skateboard drove across the floor and bumped on a box under a bench. “Plutonium” was written on the box. to be continued
